Leadership Lighthouse has a motto: everyone needs a present leader who can focus and inspire. The leader does not need to hold the title of "leader." According to our definition, anyone who takes ownership and responsibility for their work life is a leader.
Three concepts stand out in the mantra: nærvær, fokus og begejstring.
Presence is about being in contact with oneself. We see it as a prerequisite for being present with others.
Focus is about achieving results. There is money to be earned, strategies to be implemented, and goals to be reached. Focus also aligns with the company's meaningful mission and the importance of remembering its core narrative.
Enthusiasm reminds us that no one can achieve ambitious results alone. Even the most talented individuals only succeed when they, together with others, create a motivating and energizing work community.
AGORA Social Production
Alongside Leadership Lighthouse, Kim Skovmand Fogh is a partner at the consulting firm AGORA Social Productions, which is a community of leadership consultants who own their own businesses. At AGORA, we collaborate on organizational development and research.
At AGORA, we are 12 consultants who collectively have expertise in almost every area of organizational development. The team includes business psychologists, PhD students, sociologists, a journalist, a political scientist, a designer, and many of us have years of leadership experience.
AGORA is Greek and means "meeting place." It is where free people come together to create something valuable. We aim to meet and create strong results with curious and ambitious individuals who want to make a difference on behalf of their organization.
As a consequence of that, we say:
- That we work with a strong belief in people, and that we wish the best for each other – even though this can be exploited.
- That we take responsibility for each other, for the solutions we develop, and for the relationships we are in. This also means that we say no when necessary.
- That we seek openness, even when we are uncertain or make mistakes.
- That we want something with you, even if what we want is challenging.
- That we dare to ask questions to each other and to ourselves. Questions that provoke, confront, and take us to new places.
